| Whenever Mr Bear was not around, Billy would
terrorise*(3) the other smaller kids, throwing them all around.
Unfortunately, unlike Lemy, Rascal or ST Fox - the other children were afraid to say anything to Mr Bear. And so, Billy was able to continue upsetting everyone in the class - everyone except the Kanga twins! |

| The Kanga twins
- Masher and Basher, were previously the main bullies in the class. Now,
they watched in amazement at how much more terrible this newcomer was.
Billy wasn't just a bully, he was plain old MEAN. And the Kanga boys enjoyed this.
|
| |||
|
|
Masher and
Basher easily agreed to be part of Billy's gang and the three
bullies soon became a menace*(4) to all the students in Mr Bear's class.
Within a few days, there was nobody else to terrorise in the class. All the students were so afraid that they gave their lunch money to Billy's gang and had to do whatever Billy or the Kanga twins wanted.
| . | |||
|
|
All this while,
Lemy and Rascal had quietly sneaked by, from time to time, to find out
what was happening.
ST Fox was correct. The bullying was bad and it wouldn't take too long before Billy and his gang started looking for other classes and students to bully. |
|
|
If they weren't stopped, Billy would soon be in charge of the whole school!
|
AND THAT, IS THE END
OF PART 1 of |

Some new words to learn this week:
(*1) announcement - to openly inform everyone of something.
(*2) subject combinations - in some schools, classes are divided according to the subjects one is taking. This makes it easier to teach.
(*3) terrorise - to make others very afraid of you all the time
(*4) menace - to be a very big problem to those around them.
