Rascal and the foxes flew across quickly
to location Lemy had given them and soon, they met up with their
lemur friend.
|
|
Follow me quietly....and I'll show you where those hunters
are" said Lemy, as he put on a helmet and took some weapons from
Rascal.
The small band of animals
made their way to the edge of a huge rock, and peeking from behind
that rock, they saw the army tents. |

| "See
those tanks moving about?" said Lemy.
"They're
the most dangerous vehicles around, and it looks like the hunters
mean business this time*."

"There's only one thing to do," said
Rascal. We'll wait until its dark...and then, we'll blow up all
the tanks."
Well, that's exactly what
they did.
Can
you see Lemy & Rascal sneaking up to those tanks in the
picture below? If you can't see the picture there, trying brightening
your monitor screen. Now can you see that raccoon and lemur??
No?? Well I guess you're too late...they must have sneaked back
to the rocks now.

Where's
Rascal?Where's Lemy?

As soon as it was very late in the
night, Lemy and Rascal planted dynamite in the tanks that were
parked around the camp. Of course, there were no people in the tanks
at all.
Soon, Huge explosions were heard. Army men were
scrambling** all over the place in confusion....and Lemy stepped
forward and spoke to a man in uniform. Lemy didn't know it, but this
guy was a general-of-the-army, and he was very angry at what had
happened.
"Do you surrender,
Mister???" said Lemy confidently. |
| "Surrender??!!!"
asked the general. "Do you realise what you've just done to our army
training exercise??"
"Training exercise???!!!"
Now, it was Lemy & Rascal's turn to be confused. "You
mean....you aren't hunters??"
"What???!!!! Look
at this mess - do we look like hunters to you"
The General fumed and
fussed, but he was bewildered*** because these animals were able to
get through his security defences so easily.
You
have spoiled all our training plans....and now, we'll have to
return back to homebase because WE'VE
LOST ALL OUR TANKS!!!
Lemy and Rascal were very
sorry to have messed up the general's training plans but they were
also very glad that this wasn't part of some invasion of their home
island. | |
| "Gee...," said Lemy "If only you had put up some signboards saying
that you were having some secret training exercise here.....then we
wouldn't have gone and destroyed everything..."
"ARGGGGHHHHH!!!"

screamed the general in anger "GET OUT OF MY TRAINING AREA....NOW!! Lemy,
Rascal and the foxes scrambled out of the area quickly, got into their
space craft and zooooommmmed off, leaving the general down below shaking
his fists at them.
(Dear Readers, we're sorry we
can't show you any of the graphics of what happened, because it all
happened in the dark....and besides, this was a secret training exercise
and so we can't show you anything anyway. So
sorry!) |

(*1) "mean business this time" - it means you're being serious about
something.
(*2) scrambling - to rush about very quickly but not in an
organised way.
(*3) bewildered - to be very, very confused because you
can't understand what's happened.
(*4) "ARGGGGHHHHH!!!"" - this is an expression of anger or frustration - you've probably heard
your parents use this expression before.
