This new set of stories occur after Lemy & Rascal have escaped Devious Duck's latest attempt to capture them.
After their very lucky escape from the clutches of Devious Duck and his gang, Lemy and Rascal lead the rest of the animals out of the whole danger area and back into space. Now, they plan to stay out in space for awhile and wait for SuperTrain's return from the planet Mars.

Read on and discover how the animals adjust to life on-the-run, and how Lemy in particular, deals with a difficult situation.

It was now clear to everyone that Devious Duck was not going to let them off so easily. Even after flying more than 500km away, they were still pursued by Devious. Lemy and Rascal knew that if they or the other animals were ever caught, Devious Duck would sell them off to Mr Weasel - the evil guy who made money from selling animals to space zoos around the galaxy.

"We just have to keep running," sighed Rascal as they headed out to space once again. "There's just no stopping that duck."

"Well...since we're on the run again, I suppose we might as well make the most of it...and get on with the more important things in life...." replied his lemur companion.

"And just what would you consider to be the MORE IMPORTANT THINGS IN LIFE?" inquired Rascal.

"Eggs!!" replied Lemy cheerfully. "I just happen to know that the foxes managed to gather quite a few eggs while we were scouting around in the island of Alexander Fox."

Lemy was correct, and just as he spoke of eggs....Ranger the chief fox appeared together with some of the others. Lemy had promised that he would teach them all how to make a very good dish of scrambled eggs. And while the ship was already well stocked with essentials like powered milk and food tablets, it was always nice to get fresh supplies once in a while.

In a very short time, all the cooking utensils were carefully laid out as Lemy began to prepare his famous egg dish. Rascal was interested too, but he was a little concerned that the eggs seemed larger than hen eggs.

"What kind are they?" he wondered to himself.

Unfortunately nobody could answer that question because suddenly, one of the eggs simply got up on its two feet, and started running away!

For a few seconds, everybody who had gathered round Lemy could do nothing but stare at the strange sight of the egg with two legs sticking out from the shell.

Lemy was the first to react - probably because he was more hungry than the rest.

"RUNAWAY EGG!!" he cried out in an upset little voice. "CATCH IT!!"

All the foxes scrambled to try and catch the egg. (scrambled?? - a rather appropriate word don't you think? - Alex)

Everyone saw the egg move quickly - zipping across the table and then leaping off and landing quietly on the floor below.

Rascal and one of the foxes finally trapped the runaway egg - behind one of the many storage boxes they had with them.

"So now, what do we do with this...this egg!" asked another fox.

Rascal was as confused as the rest of them. How could this egg get up and run...but more importantly, what kind of animal or bird was it?
